quando fugiu à pressa da europa em direcção à terra dos sonhos, robert capa não quereria deixar para trás parte dos seus negativos, arquivados no laboratório em paris. chegou a pedir a um amigo, mais tarde, que os fosse buscar e enviasse as ‘malinhas’ para nova iorque. entretanto, o mesmo amigo acaba preso, e desde esse ano de 1939 ou 1940, que capa viveu a pensar que o trabalho se tinha perdido para sempre. mais de sessenta anos depois, não só robert capa, mas o mundo da Fotografia julgava perdidos para sempre aqueles negativos, muitos deles do trabalho sobre a guerra civil de espanha.

The suitcase — actually three flimsy cardboard valises — contained thousands of negatives of pictures that Robert Capa, one of the pioneers of modern war photography, took during the Spanish Civil War before he fled Europe for America in 1939, leaving behind the contents of his Paris darkroom.

portugal está a ser notícia! sempre por boas razões (sic!), obviamente… com o novo diário gratuito que aí vem, o global notícias, passará a haver mais circulação gratuita que circulação paga! e… daqui a uns meses é possível que pareça ainda mais…
o jornal gratuito está, definitivamente, na moda em portugal. depois dos telemóveis e da banda larga…
Newspaper Innovation:
The new paper will be the sixth free daily in Portugal after Destak (Cofina, 2004), Metro (2005), OJE (2006), Diário Desportivo and Meia Hora (both 2007). Total free circulation is now more than 550,000. Total paid circulation in 2006 was 620,000 meaning that with the new title there will be more free than paid circulation in Portugal. Transferring readers from free to paid, however, has never been shown in the – so far short – history of free daily newspapers.

na ausência de resultados, e por não terem atingido os objectivos a que se propuseram, a direcção da BBC decidiu novamente não aceitar os prémios (bonuses) que lhes forma dados…. há jornais que gostam tanto de seguir o exemplo dos outros em Inglaterra… não vou dizer o nome porque é Público 
olha se a moda pega em Portugal? será? estamos muito longe desta atitude….
